The Minifilms team have gathered together some of the iconic A-Series engine upgrades to demonstrate how effectively they work and which might suit the modern Mini enthusiast. A magnificent Mk1 Cooper S sets the benchmark, with a remarkable performance in the hands of Mini Miglia champion, Bill Sollis, but it's quickly followed by 1380, 7-port, turbo and supercharged examples of the breed, before being topped off with the most recent A-Series tuning fad, a K1100 BMW cylinder head on the A-series block. Add in a turbo for good measure and you have 230bhp!

Ultimate Mini Madness takes everything we’ve learnt from producing Ultimate Mini Extreme and Performance, and combines it for a rollercoaster ride in some of the most radical Minis you’ve ever seen. As you’d expect, we’ve gather together another amazing selection of Minis, all of which are timed around our Curborough circuit. New engines include a front-engined bike-powered car, a Rover K-series Mini and a Suzuki Swift engined Mini.

All offer yet more insights into how you can achieve maximum performance from your own Mini.
